In mid-2010, Zootechnician Fausto Mantilla Huerta first learned about the remarkable benefits of an Indian plant known as Moringa, which sparked his interest and later transformed his life as well as the lives of many others.
Intrigued by Moringa’s potential to combat childhood malnutrition and treat illnesses, Fausto and his children Daniel, Erika, and Jorge embarked on exploring new uses for it as an alternative remedy.
That same year, they founded ECUAMORINGA with the goal of importing Moringa oleifera seeds to establish the country’s first plantations.
ECUAMORINGA has since gained considerable experience demonstrating Moringa’s impressive nutritional profile through analyses and the testimonies of health professionals both within Ecuador and internationally.
